England & Wales May half term dates
- Schools in England and Wales will finish on Friday 23rd May, returning one week later on Monday 2nd June.
Scotland May holiday dates
- While Scotland does not have a May half term due to earlier summer breaks, schools will be closed for an additional INSET day on Tuesday 27th May, extending the bank holiday weekend to four days.
When is the spring bank holiday?
- The spring bank holiday (or late May bank holiday) falls on Monday 26th May across England, Scotland, and Wales, perfect for a weekend getaway.
When are the May bank holidays in 2025?
- In 2025, the May bank holidays will be on Monday 5th May and Monday 26th May.
